Charlene Hoffman

Charlene Hoffman

Co-Owner / Business Operations / Community Leader

Charlene has been part of Larry’s since the very beginning, helping open the shop in 2003. Though she leaves the boot-fitting to the experts, she’s been the steady hand behind the business ever since. With a background in entrepreneurship and executive leadership, Charlene co-owned a software engineering company in Chicago at 26, later becoming the highest-ranking female executive at a global CAD/CAM firm before moving to Boulder in 1997.

Her “ski-season job” focuses on the financial and operational side of Larry’s, while her year-round role is serving as CEO of Visit Boulder, the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Charlene also played a major role in bringing the Sundance Film Festival to Boulder. She lives in Boulder with her husband, Todd, and their three kids—one of whom still works at Larry’s—continuing the shop’s family spirit.
