Dan Vardamis

Dan has been bootfitting at Larry’s since 2016 after seven years at Neptune Mountaineering. A lifelong skier and head coach of the Nederland High School Nordic Ski Team, he’s passionate about all things ski boots—especially backcountry setups. Dan grew up racing in Vermont, skied for CU’s Alpine and Nordic Development Teams, and has spent a lifetime chasing snow and adventure. With his wife and co-owner Elaine, he’s raced and won the Elk Mountain Grand Traverse and Norway’s Expedition Amundsen. He’s hiked the Continental Divide Trail, traversed Alaska’s Brooks Range, and skied across the Greenland icecap—but most mornings you’ll still find him sneaking in a few turns before work.
